Sidelifter Shutdown Procedure

Shutdown the Sidelifter according to the type of control you are using:

Control Type

Shutdown Method

Hetronic Radio Remote

Turn the black transmitter keyswitch on the right side of the radio remote.anti-clockwise.

Hetronic Cable Remote

Turn the Function Switch anti-clockwise to the OFF position. Press the E-stop button IN.

HBC Radio Remote

Turn the Function Switch anti-clockwise to the OFF position. Remove the Ion Device key from the right side of the remote.

HBC Cable Remote

Turn the Function Switch anti-clockwise to the OFF position. Press the E-stop button IN.

SBcaution

Do not use the E-stop button to shutdown unless your remote does not have any other means of shutting down. Normally the E-stop button should be left in the OUT position.

SBcaution

If you are not going to use the Sidelifter for more than 3 hours then turn the Sidelifter Start key anti-clockwise to the OFF position. This will prevent the control system battery from being discharged.
