Park the truck so that the two vehicle decks are approximately 3' (900mm) apart. This ensures that there is room to extend the stabiliser extension beams while still keeping the container within the outreach of the unit.
The lifting procedure is now identical to that for containers at ground level as explained in the previous topic..

NEVER attempt to lift a container if the stabilser extension beams are less than fully extended. The Steelbro mini sidelifter is designed solely for the handling of standard ISO 20ft containers. The unit should not be used to drag containers across the ground, nor be used to lift other types of payload. In particular the lifting mechanisms of the unit will not tolerate any side loading.
