The Stabiler Legs consist of hydraulic cylinders constructed as for the lift cylinders, with steel feet attached to the retractable leg extension (ram).
The stabilisers are attached to Sliding Stabiliser Extension beams (also known as outriggers) which move inside the minilift frame on rollers or nylon skids. These extensions have camlocks that have two locking positions - fully extended and fully retracted. While in use the stabiliser extensions must be locked in the fully extended position and while travelling they must be must be locked in the fully retracted position.
For travelling the Stabilisers are rotated about the end of the extension beam so that they are well clear of the road.
The Stabiliser Leg extensions are locked into position by the camlocks. While travelling ensure the extensions are locked in the fully retracted position and while lifting ensure they are locked in thefully extended position.
