If necessary, refit container joiners as described in previous section. If already fitted, check that they are still in place.
Ensure lugs are still in place in the corner castings.
Start lifting both ends of containers, taking up chain tension evenly. Raise both containers, ensuring they lift clear of the centre pair of twistlocks.
Before moving the containers off the Sidelifter, check again to ensure the container joiners and separation pads are secure in their original location.
