This document applies to all models and markets.
The maximum lifting capacity of Steelbro chain slings should be rated on the inclusive angle between the two strands of chain when in normal use.
On a standard Steelbro sidelifter, this angle is 40° as indicated in the diagram below.
The following table gives the maximum lifting capacity for the various Steelbro chain slings when in their standard lifting arrangement unless specified on an "Engineered Lift" tag fitted to the chains.
