Some operators are using the E-Stop button as the main on/off switch on their Hetronic or HBC radio remotes. The button is not designed for high cycle switching and as a result they are wearing out prematurely.
This issue only applies to radio remotes. Does not apply to cable remotes as the E-Stop is the only on/off switch on these.
Please educate all operators to use the main black key switch on the side of the remote instead. This is the proper way to turn the system on and off.
The E-stop button should be left in the out position all the time and should only be used in an emergency.
