Description

A finger guard has been introduced to reduce the risk of trapping fingers between the crane base and traverse stop blocks on the front and rear of the chassis. Each stop block will have a guard fitted.

This affects all sidelifters with traverse operation and flange mounted stops (SB330 family and SE400s).

BOM

4 x Finger Guard S1-40330, and 4 x Pinch Warning Decal DE-32690 have been added to all affected BOMs

Backward Compatability

The guards can be retrofitted to all sidelifters fitted with S3-22394 flange mounted stop blocks.

Use Instructions

Finger guards to be securely clamped between stop blocks and flanges

Benefits and Advantages to Change

Will reduce risk of injury to operators and service personnel.
