TB0072 Addition of Coolant Recovery Tank Retaining Bracket

Description

A bracket has been introduced to prevent the coolant recovery tank from detaching from its mounting.

Models and Markets

This affects all sidelifters with power packs which include the engine coolant recovery tank (this tank was first introduced mid 2007)

BOM

Bracket S1-40129 has been added to all power pack BOMs

Backward Compatability

The bracket can be retrofitted to all power packs fitted with the standard Kubota coolant overflow tank.

Use Instructions

To fit, remove plastic coolant overflow tank from its mount bracket. Carefully remove the lid of the tank. Fit the new bracket over the neck of the tank then replace the tank's lid. Replace the tank on its retaining bracket then bolt the new bracket to the original mount bracket, ensure the new bracket is pushed down as low as possible to prevent the tank from being able to move.

Benefits and Advantages to Change

It has been reported that several units have lost their coolant recovery tanks. This bracket shall prevent that from occurring.
