TB0035 Product Change Advice SB330 SMARTlift (NZ and Aust)

7 Jun 2005 PDF File

All NZ and Australia models of the SB330 Steelbro Sidelifter from Serial No. SB7522 onwards have had a manufacturing improvement change made due to the addition of SMARTlift. Effective immediately the SB330 Sidelifter has been changed to be manufactured standard with digital control and SMARTlift.

Due to this improvement there are some changes to the design and manufacture of the hydraulic system, which looks different from the previous design.

This design change has been done due to the larger junction box required for SMARTlift; the junction box size does not easily allow for the hoses to be fed through the module as previously done.

All the hydraulic pipe-work is now done in a straight line with no bends. The energy chain is folding over itself on the outside position of the cranes and this creates other servicing benefits.

Chassis Drawings

The chassis drawing relating to this change is TM-B5868 for NZ Units and TM-B5869 for Australian units.
