TB0030 Introduction of Hetronic Radio Remote Controls

As part of the ongoing product improvement programme, Steelbro Sidelifters will now be fitted with Hetronic brand radio remote controls. The advantages of the Hetronic radio remote are;

Sender and receiver operate at 12 or 24 volt
Sender and receiver are keyed together using a system of plug in keys rather than swapping PCB boards
A 'teach' key is provided with each unit, rather than requiring a teach battery
Easy to change frequency settings on transmitter / receiver
One model of remote will cover all of our markets with the exception of the USA
One model of remote control is used for SB360, SB330 and SB121, with different decals
Better technical support and spare parts availability

The model of radio remote used with SMARTlift is different from the model introduced here.

The change is effective from approximately May 2004, however please use the following table to determine which units are fitted with Hetronic remotes (up to date as of 17 May 2004:
