K0004 Addition of Coolant Recovery (Overflow) Tank

This Service Information describes the procedure to add the Kubota standard Coolant Recovery Tank (CRT) to a standard Steelbro power pack (either centrally mounted or externally mounted with a fiberglass engine cover)

Models and Markets:

All markets and models with Powerpack i.e. excluding PTO units.

Parts required:

Procedure:

1. If fitted, remove fibreglass engine cover
2. Remove and discard 2x M6x30 hex head bolts from LH radiator bracket. Retain washers and spacers between radiator and radiator bracket.
3. Fit CRT Bracket (item 1) to outside of LH radiator bracket and retain with 2x M6x35 hex head bolts (item 2). Ensure previously removed washers and spacers are re-fitted.
4. Fit Coolant Recovery Tank (item 6) to CRT bracket (item 1) with items 3, 4 & 5
5. Connect black hose at bottom of Coolant Recovery Tank onto radiator cap overflow outlet. Discard existing overflow hose on radiator cap.
6. Route transparent CRT overflow hose as shown in photo and secure with cable ties.
7. Replace fibreglass engine cover, if applicable.
