This Service Info applies to HBC radio remotes, models 730 and 735.
Under some conditions when a tele-teach battery is not available or cannot be used for tuning, there are alternate buttons located inside the receiver which can be used instead.
The buttons are located on the underside of the top PCB boards in the receiver. By undoing 2 brass screws at one end of the top PCB boards, the 2 boards will swivel up and the buttons can then be seen on the underside.
On some 730 model transmitters, there are no contacts located inside the battery compartment to receive a tele-teach battery. In this instance, the buttons in the receiver are the only option to tune output voltages.
