E0009 SB360/SB300/SB330 Diode Safety Retrofit System

Refer to:

• For SB360 use Parts List EL-33168, for SB330 use Parts List EL-33176

• Drawing S6-33170 Modification to SB360 Stabiliser Housing
• Drawing S3-33171 Modification to SB300/330 Stabiliser Housing

1. Drill the holes as per drawing S6-33170 or S3-33171
2. Extend the sensor cable if required using small solder sleeves (RS 157-2972)
3. Install the Proximity Sensor in the barrel housing (without 90° elbow or gland) Using the SICK sensor testing device and 2mm sensing distance setting tool (EL-33172), set the proximity sensor extension. Apply Loctite 222 and install the locknut. Install the 90° elbow and gland. Install the M5 SHCS.
4. Check that the tip of the proximity sensor is not protruding beyond the stabiliser housing. (the sensor has a 4mm range, so it should be 2mm recessed)
5. Install the conduit
6. Install the additional contact blocks into module junction boxes, install block/relay assembly into main control cabinet
7. Test the system logic
