E0008 E40 Stabilizer Down Diode Safety System Retrofit System

1. Drill one Ø25mm + three M5 holes in positions shown on S7-33032, in each stabiliser housing
2. Extend the sensor cable if required using small solder sleeves (RS 157-2972)
3. Install the Proximity Sensor in the barrel housing (without 90° elbow or gland). Using the SICK sensor testing device and 3mm sensing distance setting tool, set the proximity sensor extension. Apply Loctite 222 and install the locknut. Install the 90° elbow and gland. Install the M5 SHCS.
4. Check that the tip of the proximity sensor is not protruding beyond the stabiliser housing. (the sensor has a 4mm range, so it should be 1mm recessed)
5. Install the conduit
6. Install contact blocks into module junction boxes as per Picture 1, install block/relay assembly into main control cabinet.
7. Test the system logic.
